So I have told you guys a little about my recent trip to Deer Valley in Park City, Utah. I just wanted to explain a little more about why I believe it is the best mountain in the west and in the United States.
It is no mystery that it is an amazing place, with many ski publications ranking it as the best ski resort, but I wanted to go into the details a little bit.
Most importantly, the skiing is unbeleivable. They have the perfect combo of groomed trails and natural runs with the best snow in the US. They also have such a large assortment of runs, that everyone can ski within their abilities.
I wrote earlier about how awesome the three on-mountain hotels are, the St. Regis, Stein Eriksen, and the Montage. Their convenience of being ski-in-ski-out and their amenities are what makes them so special. As I said, they are perfect for apres ski and for lunch. The Stein Eriksen, in particular, has an amazing brunch buffet that is perfect for a late morning ski break.
I am going to write a separate blog about the town of Park City, but
Deer Valley is a very special place because of how well they treat their guests and their amenities. Everyone should pay them a visit.
