So news came out this week that a few Colorado mountains, the latest being Breckenridge, have announced that they have extended their ski season this year well into May. They have gotten so much snow after the new year that they are going to stay open until Memorial Day!
With powder dumps being projected for Mach, April, and May in the higher points of elevation in Colorado, this is welcome news. They will stay open for a total of 36 days more than they initially announced. They have over 16 feet of snow to date and expect much more!
Arapahoe and Loveland will also be staying open until Memorial Day. So if you can, get out there for some spring skiing!
