So if you have been in the Northeast recently, over the past few days, you couldn’t have missed the insane wind. I know that for some of the mountains up north, that resulted in a lot of snow being swept off of the slopes and icy conditions.
But at Sugarloaf, those strong winds did something worse, as you can see above. Their communications tower fell as a result of winds reaching over 100mph. Nobody was hurt and the mountain said they were able to resume normal communications, so nothing too bad came out of it, just a lot of money out of Sugarloaf’s checkbook.
